Welcome to English I and English III. I am happy to return to Johnson High School for my fourth year. I am looking forward to teaching both freshmen and juniors this year, and I cannot wait to help you learn, grow, and appreciate reading and writing.The most important aspect of teaching is relationships.

Throughout the year, I maintain connections with all of my students. I love to hear about sports or extra curriculum activities.I implement students' hobbies and interests into my lesson plans because students are more likely to learn and grow when they are in a welcoming and inclusive environment.I do not just teach English. First and foremost, I teach kids how to learn and grow authentically.
