Mrs. Jennifer Koehl

I am looking forward to an exciting year of teaching mathematics to Johnson Jaguar students.  I graduated from Texas State University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and earned an Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University in 2015.

I joined the North East ISD family in 2001 as a mathematics teacher at Reagan High School.  I taught in NEISD for ten years (eight years at Reagan High School and two years at Johnson High School) and then moved to Colorado where I taught in the Boulder Valley School District for four years.  My family and I returned to San Antonio where I rejoined the Johnson faculty.  I am starting my twentieth year of teaching.  I love working with Mrs. Cobb in sponsoring the senior class!

I have been married for seventeen years. I have two daughters and a son who are all North East ISD students.  I have a stepson who is working on his master's degree at Texas Tech University.

My goal is to guide my students to academic success and prepare them for life after high school.  I love my job and feel grateful that I get to wake up every day and work with high school students.  I look forward to working with the students at Johnson High School and collaborating with you this year.  Please feel free to contact me anytime.  I would love to hear from you!
