Degrees and Certifications:
B.A.- Biology and Psychology, Our Lady of the Lake University (San Antonio, TX)
Ms. Jasimine Harris
Welcome! I am proud member of the Johnson High School family. Go Jags! This will be my twelfth year in education and sixth year at Johnson.
I was born in Germany and am originally from New York City, New York. However, I have called Texas home for over half my life. I am a proud graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University. My bachelor's degree was earned in December 2007, where I majored in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry.
While attending "The Lake," I was involved in various organizations, all in which entailed my love of service.
From a very young age, I always knew that I wanted to work with young people. Upon graduating from college, I pursued the necessary steps to become a certified teacher and began that dream in August of 2008. After six years of teaching in El Paso, Texas, I made the great decision to move back to San Antonio, Texas.
This will also be my sixth year teaching Anatomy & Physiology. Over the years, I have taught Biology, AP Biology, Chemistry and Student Leadership. Not only do I teach, I coach Junior Varsity Girls Basketball (12th Year) and Track (6th Year).
Buckle up, this will be an adventure!!!!!!
