Greenback Night 2022-Clinical Rotation
Greetings from Johnson High School's Health Science Technology Department! My name is Carla Jacobs and I am one of the Health Science Teachers here at Johnson High School. I currently teach Health Science Clinical Rotation and Health Science Theory.
This is my 20th year as a teacher at NEISD. I spent nine years at Lee High School and the remainder here at Johnson High School. I am a Registered Nurse that graduated from UTHSCSA with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have nursing experience in the fields of Gynecology, Home Health, and Clinical Research. After being a nurse and loving what I do, I didn't think that I would find another career just as satisfying. I HAVE. Teaching is a great joy to me and I love sharing my knowledge of the medical field with students as they find their way into a career pathway.
I am also the Career and Technical Education Department Head for Johnson High School and I have my Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University. My class schedule is listed below and I can be reached via email at cjacob4@neisd.net.
I use Google Classroom and Remind to dessiminate informtion. All lessons will be on Google Classroom for those students that are absent. Please reach out to me if you would like to access Google classroom. We also have access to our textbook, Diversified Health Occupations, available through the Launchpad.
Thank you!
