Mr. Brandon Corbin
My name is Brandon Corbin, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child’s new 9th grade world geography teacher at Johnson High School. It is an honor to join this dedicated community of educators and to have the opportunity to engage with your children to explore our fascinating world.
A little bit about myself—I hold a Master’s Degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. I am passionate about geography and its ability to help us understand the people, places, and environments around the globe. I have previously served in the United States Army as an infantry officer, a defense policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, and policy advisor in the Pentagon. I am excited to share my experience in our classroom.
My teaching philosophy includes educating the whole person: academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students will graduate Johnson more prepared to thrive in the world and in their pursuits.
I encourage open communication and welcome any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year. Please feel free to reach out to me via email.
Thank you for your support. I am eager to embark on this educational adventure with your children. Together, we can make this a rewarding and successful year.
