Welcome to English I Honors!

Hello! My name is Jessica Draney. I was raised in El Paso and moved to San Antonio a few years ago. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where I earned a B.A. in British and American Literature and a M.Ed. in Reading Education. I am starting my 28th year in  education, and my fourth year at Johnson. This year I am teaching English 1 Honors, and I am excited to have you in class and learn from one another! Looking forward to our year at Johnson!  It's a great day to be a Jag! Go Jags!!

1st Period -- English 1 Honors

2nd Period -- English 1 Honors

3rd Period -- English 1 Honors

4th Period -- Lunch

5th Period -- English 1 Honors

6th Period -- Conference

7th Period -- English 1 Honors

8th Period -- English 1 Honors  

Tutoring Schedule:

Monday 8:00 - 8:40 am

Thursday 4:15 - 4:30 pm

No tutoring on Fridays AM or PM

All other days and times by appointment.
