    We encourage students, parents, and guardians to work directly with the campus principal to resolve your complaint informally. Should this step not result in a resolution, the student/parent/guardian may initiate a formal complaint.

    Please be aware: While North East ISD Board Policies (Legal) and (Local) have not yet been updated to reflect changes from Senate Bill 12 of the 89th Legislative Session, these changes will take effect on September 1, 2025. Complaints filed before this date, or issues leading to a complaint that occurred before this date, will follow the previous grievance timelines and process.


    If the following is true and accurate, please proceed:
    1. I have emailed and/or spoken with my principal/designee regarding the complaint.
    2. A resolution has not been reached.
