Magnet Program Transportation Information
We are pleased to announce transportation options that offer magnet families greater flexibility and convenience. To ensure a smooth and organized transportation experience, all middle and high school magnet students interested in using bus services to and from their magnet campus are required to complete a bus rider registration process each year.
Key Benefits:
- Customized Bus Stop Selection: Families can choose their preferred bus stop location instead of defaulting to the “home campus.”
- Optimized Planning: The Transportation Department can effectively plan routes, reducing the likelihood of overcrowding.
- Improved Reliability: Better planning leads to more consistent and dependable bus services.
Registration Process:
The registration process opens annually, and all middle and high school magnet families are encouraged to complete the registration form, even if they do not require bus service. This helps us plan routes efficiently and accommodate all students.
Registration Deadline:
To ensure bus service on the first day of school, students must be registered by the specified deadline each year. Students who miss the registration deadline will be placed on a waiting list. All students on the waiting list will receive bus service, but service may not begin until after the start of the school year as adjustments are made.
