North East School of the Arts (NESA)

The North East School of the Arts (NESA) is a gifted and talented high school program in the arts structured as a magnet program. NESA has seven majors: cinema, creative writing, dance, instrumental music, musical theater, technical theater, and visual arts. NESA provides a rigorous academic environment, with a sequential, customized curriculum designed to encourage artistic excellence, integration with multiple arts disciplines, and authentic assessment.

- NESA has a 100 percent graduation rate.
- Ten percent of NESA students are National Merit Recognized (The national average is one percent.)
