Mrs. Hanssen

Hello!

I am starting my 33rd year of teaching English and coaching. This is my sixth year at Johnson, and I love working here. This year I am the level lead for English I Honors, and I am coaching JV volleyball and JV soccer. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I earned my master's degree from Lamar University. In my spare time, I coach club volleyball, read, and hang out with my two favorite Dachshunds, Radley and Pilot. My husband and I are the empty nest parents of two grown children, Tanner and Makenna, who make us proud every day.
