I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.  Upon graduation from the University of Utah as a Distinguished Graduate from the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training program, I was stationed at Randolph Air Force Base and have been in love with San Antonio ever since. I truly have been around the world before I retired from the Air Force in December of 2021.  After retirement, I knew I wanted to be at Johnson High School to teach/coach.  There is literally no other place I want to be. I have taught Principles of Law, World Geography and US History.  This year I am teaching U.S. History and will continue to be an assistant coach for the best wrestling team in all of San Antonio.  I look forward to helping students make relevant connections to their world through the use of current and historical events.

Some of my hobbies and interests include spending time with family, fishing, hunting & watching our two boys play football at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy & Johnson Jaguar football!
