Howdy!

I am looking forward to a great school year at Johnson High School. This is my 12th year with NEISD -a great place to be! I am excited about teaching ESL!

A little bit about me: I graduated from Marshall High School, later attended San Antonio College and UTSA and graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor of science degree in meteorology. My teaching certificates are in English Language Arts and Reading, Spanish, Bilingual Education and ESL.

I’ve been married for 26 years and have 3 children: Hudson, Penelope and Reesy and five pets -a Barbet dog named Max, a lab named Lexie, a yellow-sided green cheeked conure named Louie, a lamb named Bexar and a horse named Figment. My children attend/ed NEISD schools and three pets stay home and the other two at the barn.

In my free time I enjoy shopping, planning for future trips, playing tennis, taking the dog for a walk, playing board games and driving my children around to extra-curricular activities.
