This is my sixteenth year of teaching, and my eighth year teaching at MacArthur High School. I was raised in San Antonio and attended NEISD schools graduating from Churchill High School. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History. My teaching certifications are in Social Studies and Special Education. I have successfully taught 9th through 12th grade social studies, as well as case-managed students in special education. Currently, I am Co-Teaching US History and English 2.

My wife is a teacher in NEISD, and we have two adult children. My family and myself are grateful to be  invested in, and part of this excellent school district.

There is a dynamic campus culture here at MacArthur that is driven by great students, caring parents, an exceptional and diverse community, as well as committed teachers and administrators. I am very proud to be part of the MacArthur team.
