Degrees and Certifications:
This is my eleventh year of teaching, and my third year teaching at MacArthur High School. I was raised in San Antonio and attended NEISD schools graduating from Churchill High School in 1983. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History. My teaching certifications are in Social Studies and Special Education. I have successfully taught 9th through 11th grade social studies, as well as case managed students in special education. Currently I am Co-Teaching US History and World Geography.
My wife is a teacher in NEISD, and we have two children, one of which graduated from Reagan High School and the other is attending Johnson High School. My family and myself are grateful to be invested in, and part of this excellent school district.
There is a dynamic campus culture here at MacArthur that is driven by outstanding students, caring parents, an exceptional and diverse community, as well as committed teachers and administrators. I am very proud to be part of the MacArthur team.
