Welcome to Art at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School for the 2024-2025 school year. 

I am an Iowa native and have been living in Texas for about 23 years now.  I have a BFA from Iowa State University and a BA from University of Northern Iowa in Art Education.  My husband works for Texas State University. I have two beautiful children named Claire, who is in eleventh grade at Johnson High School, and Carter, who graduated from Johnson High School and is now attending Texas State University.  I have been teaching for twenty-one years. Ten years have been with elementary and middle school students and now this is my eleventh year at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School.  

I am excited to see everyone this year and getting to know students in my art classes!
