Mrs. Stephanie Smith

Welcome to Art at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School for the 2019-2020 school year. The following is just a few things about me.  

I moved to San Antonio in 1999 but before moving to Texas I lived in Iowa.  I have a BFA from Iowa State University and a BA from University of Northern Iowa in Art Education.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Dan who is also a teacher in NEISD.  I have two beautiful children named Claire, who is in sixth grade at Tejeda Middle School and Carter, who is in tenth grade at Johnson High School.  This will be my sixteenth year teaching art. Ten years have been with elementary and middle school students and now this is my sixth year at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School and I absolutely love being a Jaguar!

Joining Johnson Art
