Welcome to Art at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School for the 2023-2024 school year. 

I am an Iowa native and have been living in Texas for about 22 years now.  I have a BFA from Iowa State University and a BA from University of Northern Iowa in Art Education.  My husband is a computer teacher in Comal ISD. I have two beautiful children named Claire, who is in tenth grade at Johnson High School and Carter, who graduated from Johnson High School and is now attending Texas State University.  I have been teaching for twenty years. Ten years have been with elementary and middle school students and now this is my tenth year at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School.  

I am excited to see everyone this year and getting to know students in my art classes!

  • WE WOULD LOVE to have you get involved with ART here at Johnson.  There are a number of classes to choose form beyond Art I; from painting, to drawing, to digital photography, to sculpture, students are sure to find something to enjoy!  For more information on any of the classes we offer, please feel free to contact me via email anytime.

    STUDENTS WILL BE GIVEN ACCESS TO GOOGLE CODES IN CLASS TO SHARE WITH PARENTS AND IT WILL HAVE THE CLASS SYLLABUS AVAILABLE THERE.
