I am excited to continue my teaching career here at Johnson High School, where I began as part of the First Faculty in 2008. This will be my 25th year teaching with NEISD. I am a Special Education teacher working with our students in the Beyond Program, where they prepare for life after high school by working on individual transition skills. This will be my 33rd year working with individuals with special needs. Prior to teaching, I worked at Mission Road Developmental Center, a residential facility for children and adults with special needs. I provided case management services for the children's unit and managed community group homes for adolescents.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
