Born and raised in San Antonio, I graduated from Edison High School in 1996.  I spent most of my life being very active in sports, mostly in basketball(AAU).  After graduation, I immediately went to Hill College on a basketball scholarship.  My studies continued at Southwest Texas State University - now known as Texas State.  While at Southwest Texas State I majored in mathematics, minored in exercise sports science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics in 2001.  I started my career teaching math and coaching in the fall of  2001 and have been teaching ever since.  I love working with teenagers and helping them prepare for their next chapter in life, college and the real world.
