My name is Stephanie Desmarais.  I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX.  I attended and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder where I played and lettered 4 years in basketball.  There, I met my husband Gregg.  We have been married for 29 years and have 3 beautiful children.  Hannah (26), Jacob (22), and Devin (16).  Hannah and Jacob graduated from Johnson and Devin attends Johnson now and is the 11th grade.

     While at the University of Colorado, I graduated with a pyschology degree and immediately began working in the mental health and social work fields.  I have always loved working with kids and have a sincere desire to make a positive impact on their lives.  I have a passion, as well, for the game of basketball that began when I was a kid and continues now.  I love coaching and bring that same passion to work every day and using it to motivate and inspire.  This will be my 1t8h year of coaching, and my 11 year at Johnson (10 years as Head Coach).  I am so excited to begin a new school year and for the opportunity to coach basketball at Johnson High School!
