Mr. David Christie

I was born and raised in San Antonio where I attended NEISD schools (Coker, Bradley, & Churchill) growing up. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2006, I moved to Houston to start my teaching career.

For the next 8 years, I worked at Stephen F. Austin High School (in Sugar Land) where I taught World Geography, coached JV Boys Soccer, and served as Student Council sponsor. My wife and I moved back to San Antonio in the summer of 2014 and I have been teaching at Johnson since.

This will be my 14th year in education and I look forward to helping students make relevant connections to their world through the use of current and historical events.

My hobbies and interests include my son (Cole - 9 months), sports, international travel, visiting national parks, photography, contemporary art, the Spurs, and Texas A&M.
