Welcome to My webpage!  I am excited to be your son or daughter's Honors Chemistry or Chemistry 1 teacher for the 2021-2022 school year!  A little about me....I was born in California and lived up and down the West Coast.  I came to Texas via the Air Force and I was gradually adopted by this great state.  I really loved my time in the military and once I fulfilled my active duty contract I followed my wife around as she progressed in her military career and taught/coached wherever the Air Force put us. As my wife and I have grown as a couple we have brought four wonderful children into our lives.  Lots of hugs and kisses from my kids have been one of the biggest blessings in my life.  I really love San Antonio for its support for the military, I am proud to call San Antonio home and live in Military City USA!   I have been teaching for 12+ years now and have loved every minute of it.  I started teaching in Texas and then we moved and I taught in Alabama. I did some coaching of football/soccer when my family was in Alabama, and I really enjoyed doing that.  From Alabama, we moved to Alaska and I taught there as well and we really loved living in such a beautiful place.  Once we got orders back to San Antonio I knew there was only one place for me to teach and live and that is right here at Johnson High School!  I am very blessed to have served here at Johnson since 2015.  The staff and students have been great here and the transition back to San Antonio from Alaska was all the easier because of them.  Chemistry is such a fun and interesting subject to teach and I hope that your child will enjoy their year with me.  Go JAGS!!
