I'm a second year teacher and a certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist MLS(ASCP). I worked in several hospital clinical laboratories performing diagnostic testing for a decade prior to changing careers to teaching. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013 with a BA in Biology and a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL and relocated to San Antonio in 2017.

    I see every single day of teaching as an opportunity to spark inquisition and critical thinking in my students by sharing healthcare experiences and scientific knowledge. Sharing scientific inquiry, logical thinking, health and medical knowledge is a passion of mine. Outside of the school day, I enjoy a good hike, exploring nature and spending time with my daughters.
