    Course Description

    Throughout this semester we will focus on the general aspects of Audio Visual Technology.  This includes Film, TV Broadcasting, Radio, Photography, Animation (2d & 3d), Graphic Design and Digital Imaging. We will also learn about the business, legal, and creative aspects of all the Career and Technology fields.


  • Materials Needed

    + It is recommended that students have a USB flash drive (jump drive) for saving various projects

     

    + Must have a Google drive account (We will be using Google classroom to send assignments)

     

    + *Tablet or Smartphone

     

     

     

     

     

    Grading

    Primarily, we will be doing daily warm-up questions (entry ticket), daily assignments and projects. On occasion, we will have quizzes and exams to evaluate your overall comprehension of unit lessons given and, occasionally, we will have projects that require us to work outside of the school campus. Since the majority of assignments are project based, they will be graded through a rubric. Participation includes completing daily journals and further progression in completion of their work.

    Grading Policy: 

    Daily Assignments: 60%,

     Projects: 20%,

    Quizzes: 20%,

     

     

    Expectations For the Course:

    Because of the rigorous nature of this curriculum, you are expected to meet project deadlines. Screencast video tutorials will be provided in Google Classroom for you to use. If you’re having difficulty with the content, feel free to ask me for help at any time. If you are absent or if you’re falling behind on your work, tutoring will be available at the scheduled time below.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

Tutoring Hours

  • Mondays:

    4:15 pm- 5:00 pm

    Tuesdays:

    4:15 pm- 5:00 pm  

    Wednesdays:

    4:15 pm- 5:00 pm    

     

    * All morning tutoring sessions for Mondays, Tuesday, & Thursdays are to be scheduled by appointment only.
