Ms. Moreland

I teach English 1 and Academic Literacy at Johnson High School I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with a creative writing focus, and am certified to teach English, Language Arts, and Reading, as well as ESL.

I believe that a successful classroom is truly a partnership between the students and the teacher, and I will do everything in my power to facilitate that relationship. I have a passion for literacy and I am excited to share that passion with my students this year. 

In my free time, I love to sing with the San Antonio Choral Society. I am also an avid reader and a developing writer, and I never miss an opportunity to go on a nature hike.
