Bachelor of Science in Geography Texas A&M University
Mr. David Christie
I was born and raised in San Antonio where I attended NEISD schools (Coker, Bradley, & Churchill) growing up. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2006, I moved to Houston to start my teaching career.
For the next 8 years, I worked at Stephen F. Austin High School (in Sugar Land) where I taught world geography, coached JV boys soccer, and served as student council sponsor. My wife and I moved back to San Antonio in the summer of 2014 and I have been teaching at Johnson since.
This is my 17th year in education and I look forward to helping students make relevant connections to their world through the use of current and historical events.
Some of my hobbies and interests include spending time with my kids (Cole & Catherine), sports, international travel, visiting national parks, photography, contemporary art, and Texas A&M.
