2. The applicant must be a member of the current JHS graduating class.
3. The applicant must have a scholastic record satisfactory to the Selection Committee.
4. The applicant must have plans to continue his/her education.
5. The applicant must demonstrate character traits that may include (but are not limited to):
Good citizenship
Integrity
Dependability
Service to others
Leadership
Scholarships

VALUE
The value of each scholarship awarded will be $1,000. The scholarship will be paid in one lump sum payable to the academic institution the recipient will attend. Awarded students will receive written notice of their award at the conclusion of the interview process. Non-awarded students will also be notified by written notice.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
1. The applicant must be a member of the JHS PTSA. (PTSA membership will be verified by the application due date) The applicant may submit the PTSA membership form online at johnsonptsa.com prior to submitting the scholarship application
