Mrs. Hanssen

Hello!

I am starting my 32nd year of teaching English and coaching. This is my fifth year at Johnson, and I love working here. This year I will be teaching English I Honors and coaching volleyball and soccer. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I earned my master's degree from Lamar University. My husband and I have been married for 29 years, and we have two amazing children. My son, Tanner, is a professional body builder and is starting nursing school in the fall, and my daughter, Makenna, just finished playing volleyball at Angelo State University, and she is now a graduate assistant for the volleyball team and finishing her master's degree in psychology at A&M Commerce. We have two of the cutest Dachshunds, Radley and Pilot.

I'm looking forward to this year!
