I am looking forward to an exciting year of working with the students and staff at Johnson High School. I graduated in 2002 from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. I have my teacher certifications in Special Ed, PE, Health, and Theatre Arts. I have worked in several school districts throughout the state. I began working as a teacher at John Jay High School in NISD. I later moved to Edgewood Fine Arts Academy where I taught everything from Theatre and Tech Theatre to Television Media and Radio. I have coached varsity football, basketball and baseball in Buffalo TX, moved back to San Antonio where I coached at Metzger Middle school, then later moved to MacArthur where I taught Special Education Co-Teach and coached tennis, softball, and track. (My wife is also a Mac grad). After 7 great years at Mac I moved to Johnson to be closer to home, closer to my kids schools, and to work at another great NEISD high school. I have assisted with tennis and run the outdoor club at Johnson. I am married to a wonderful woman who works in the up and coming Tech Industry in San Antonio and I have 3 boys that go to Johnson High School, Tejeda Middle School, and Encino Park Elementary .
