I grew up in Germany (proud military BRAT). Upon graduating from high school, I attended Bridgewater College in Bridgewater Virginia, where I studied Liberal studies and was a cheerleader! After my family (parents and sister) moved to San Antonio from Germany in 2006, I moved here to join them. I obtained my BS in Business Management and prior to obtaining my alternative certification in Business Education, I worked in the business industry for companies such as Bank of America, Good Year, Texas Bariatric Specialists, The Scooter Store, USAA, and Southern Careers Institute to name a few. I obtained my alternative teaching certification in Business Education 6-12 in 2014. Prior to teaching here at Johnson HS, I worked for the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Harmony Public Schools, and Harlandale ISD. I love teaching business courses as it provides me with the opportunity to share and teach real world and career skills to my students; which in turn, helps the education system and our district respond to the evolving needs of our global economy.
