Supplies to bring EVERYDAY:

  • **1.5 inch three-ring binder** (see section on Quiz grades)
  • **10 tabs**
  • Loose leaf notebook paper
  • Unit Notes & Classwork packets
  • Pencils & erasers
  • A TI-NSpire CX graphing calculator is what we will be using this year. You may purchase your own, but we will always have a class set for in-class assignments.

Expectations:  (the five P’s):  I expect every student to:

    1. Participate (100%),
    2. be Prompt (ready to work when the bell rings),
    3. be Polite (respectful and supportive of classmates and teachers),
    4. be Prepared (have supplies and assignments),
    5. be Productive (work hard, stay on-task, ask questions, and help others).

Tutoring/FLEX:

Help is always available.  Please check the Resource tab to find the tutoring schedule. The tutoring schedule is also posted both inside and outside the classroom. You may also get help during FLEX. Students must get a FLEX pass on Wednesday or before school on Thursday.

Google Classroom:

Students will be automatically populated into Google Classroom. It contains notes, classwork, partial keys for test reviews and videos of notes. This is also a way for teachers to communicate with students.

Textbook:

A copy of textbook resources can be found on the NEISD Launchpad. (Look for a red/white icon that says, “Bedford Freeman and Worth.” You may also get a book checked out to you through your assigned AP. (You want the “Peacock Book”)

Honesty Policy:

All quizzes, tests, and projects (unless otherwise instructed by me) are to be completed individually. You are expected to secure your phone & Smart watch in your backpack at the front of the classroom on Test Day.  Any student caught copying/cheating will receive a zero for the assignment.  It is okay to work with other students on the practice classwork assignments as long as each student is actively working on each of the assigned problems.

**All School Policies & Consequences will be enforced.  See your student handbook for more details.
