The Criteria for Eligibility in the CTJ Chapter of NHS are as follows:

• Students must be in their Junior or Senior year of High School.
• Students must have an overall unweighted GPA of 90 or above.  This is a district change.
• Students must fill out an application, when made available, and turn in application on time.
• The Faculty Council will review applications based on Character, Community Service and Involvement, and Leadership.

As an active Member of the CTJ Chapter of NHS, a student must do the following each semester:

• Maintain an overall unweighted GPA of 90 or above
• Attend monthly meetings
• Complete a group service project(s) (equivalent of 4 hours) per semester
• Complete 6 hours of Volunteer/Community Service work individually per semester (and turn in the proper paperwork that verifies this work.)
