Hello MAC Dance Family,

I have been a part of the MacArthur community since 1998 and I am very excited for another year with my talented young dancers. My goal is to guide my students in achieving their goals and therefore helping them become successful. In addition to dance, my students learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, time management, and sportsmanship.

DANCE EDUCATION:

Studio- Studio Dance classes (10 years), Master classes in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas

High School- Graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School (1991), Colonel of the Patriots Dance Team

College- Bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University (BESS-1996), Secondary Dance Certification, Member of Strutters Dance Team

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

-Co-Director / head choreographer for the All-Star National Champion G.T. Express Superstars Dance Team (1988-1996)

-Student Teaching Experience at Churchill High School (1995)

-Cheerleading Coach/ Asst. Dance at Roosevelt High School (1997-1998)

-Dance Director / Choreographer for the National Champion MacArthur High School Brahmadora Varsity Dance Team & Lassie JV Dance Team (1998-present)

-University of Texas at San Antonio Pom Squad Coach/ Choreographer 2010-2012
