Mr. Steve Davidson

A product of the NEISD, Steve Davidson is a 1979 graduate of Roosevelt High School. A graduate of St. Mary’s University, he holds the following degrees: Bachelor of English, Literature & Language; Master’s Degree in English Literature & Language; and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Involved in education for more than 20 years, Davidson is a decorated Gulf War veteran where he served as an Army Combat Medic. He currently teaches English IV-AP, IV-GT, and MAC UP (UTSA University Prep). On staff with the Alamo Colleges Community District (San Antonio College) as an adjunct professor, Davidson teaches Dual Credit within his AP & GT classes.

Beyond his scope as an English teacher, Davidson created and serves as the coordinator for the award-winning MacTEACH Tutoring and Outreach Program. He is also the University Scholastic League (UIL) campus coach for Ready Write & Literary Criticism. Concerned for the global welfare of children, and those oppressed, especially as it applies to education and mental health-related matters, Davidson actively advocates in and out of the classroom.

Davidson is currently under contract with a publishing company regarding his book about MacTEACH. Publishing date is scheduled for the 2022 Spring/Summer.
