I have over 24 years of teaching experience, with 19 of those years in the San Antonio area. I am a proud graduate of Churchill High School and Southwest Texas State University where I received my degree in Dance and Biology in 1999.  My goal at MacArthur is to make sure that all of my students feel like they are in a safe environment where they can learn and grow. I am very excited to be working with our Science students here at Mac! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family (including two teenagers), going to the beach, and reading.
