Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science Certifications in Secondary Math and Physical Education

Mr. Jason Hendrick

I am a James Madison High School class of 1994 graduate. From there, I went to Southwest Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science in December of 1998. I began teaching Algebra I at William Taft High School in January 1999. My coaching career began the next fall at John H. Wood Middle School, where I taught 6th Grade Math and coached football, basketball, and track. I moved to James Madison High School in the fall of 2002 and taught Algebra I and Math Models there for twelve years, along with coaching defensive line and offensive line in football, freshman and JV basketball, and was the Head Boys Soccer Coach from 2008 to 2014. I have been teaching Geometry, Algebra I, coaching wide receivers and offensive line in football, and JV boys soccer here in my eight previous years at MacArthur High School. This year marks a change for me as I am no longer coaching heading into my 25th year of teaching.
