Welcome to my art class!  This is my twenty-first year teaching art in N.E.I.S.D. and my ninth year at MacArthur.  I spent the previous twelve years teaching middle school students at Jackson M.S.  I am a graduate of Trinity University where I received both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees.

Art has always been a big part of my life.  I am an art teacher because I love working with teenagers and seeing them express themselves through art.  I believe art should be an active, engaging, and fun course where all students feel successful.

This will be my ninth year teaching PALS.  I believe wholeheartedly in the PALS program and I expect a lot out of the students in this class.  We will spend a year bonding, mentoring, serving and having fun.  It is going to be a great year!
