Mr. Michael Silva

Hello,

My name is Mr. Silva.  I am a proud teacher of mathematics.  While I am skilled in all levels of math, this year I am teaching Algebra I for the awesome young MacArthur Brahmas!

I have been teaching for 6 years, and am so proud to be here at MacArthur after teaching at SAISD for the previous 2 years.  Before that I also taught at South San ISD and East Central ISD.

I am a huge fan of what I call the "3 M's" - Math, Music, and Marvel!  In addition to being a math teacher, I am also a local musician and an avid Marvel comics and movies fan.

I believe that high school is about more than just coming to class and doing your work.  I support student involvement and you'll see me at as many events as I can attend.  I love supporting all our sports teams and clubs. I volunteer for the Student Council, and will attend almost every athletic event and competition.

I keep my room open for all students and parents that have any concerns or need any help.  If you need anything, please let me know.  I am always here to help.
