Mr. Michael Silva

Hello,

My name is Mr. Silva.  I am a proud teacher of mathematics at MacArthur High.  This year I am teaching Statistics for our junior and senior Brahmas, and Algebra I for the freshmen Brahmas!

I have been teaching for 7 years, and am so proud to be at MacArthur for the second straight year.  Before that I taught at San Antonio ISD, South San ISD, and East Central ISD.

I am a huge fan of what I call the "3 M's" - Math, Music, and Marvel!  In addition to being a math teacher, I am also a local musician and an avid Marvel comics and movies fan.

I believe that high school is about more than just coming to class and doing your work.  I support student involvement and you'll see me at as many events as I can attend.  I love supporting all our sports teams and clubs.

I currently sponsor the Junior Class, and will be looking to host some fabulous events this year.

I keep my rooms open for all students and parents that have any concerns or need any help.  If you need anything, please let me know.  I am always here to help.
