I am excited to be teaching Calculus and Geometry at Mac in the 2024-2025 school year!  I taught Calculus in 2013-2017 and I am thrilled to teach it again this year. 

I lived and studied my senior year of high school in Sarreguemines, in eastern France.  I lived and worked my first job after college in Brussels, Belgium, with a French-speaking company. 

I am a Mechanical Engineer, with BS and MS degrees from MIT.  I worked for twelve years in engineering in the US and in Europe, mostly related to plastics and automotive design. During my years in Detroit (Motor City, USA), I earned a Master in Business Administration at Oakland University.  I changed careers and gained twelve years of healthcare management experience with my wife.  I started substitute teaching and I was instantly drawn to become a teacher.  I started teaching as a certified High School Math teacher in 2013, at MacArthur, and later became certified in French. 

My wife and I raised our two children in lovely San Antonio.  Our daughter finished college in 2020 and our son in 2023!  The kids are French nerds like I am.
