Alyx Henderson

Howdy! I am extremely excited to be a part of the Reagan Rattler community! I am entering my second year here at Reagan High School and look forward to seeing what the year brings us. I am co-teaching Geometry & Algebraic Reasoning. I am also the assistant Girls' Basketball coach for the Lady Rattlers basketball program. In my first year as girls' freshmen coach, we went undefeated throughout the season and were District Champions. I hope to continue this success this season!

This will be my sixth year teaching and coaching in total. I moved from Lubbock, Texas where I started my career at Lubbock-Cooper ISD. There I taught 6th-8th mathematics, as well as, 6th & 7th Technology Applications. On the coaching end, I coached high school basketball where we made the state semifinals in 2021 and the state finals in 2023. I also coached middle school basketball, volleyball, and track.

In 2019, I graduated from the greatest university in the world, Texas A&M University! Whoop! I graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management, with a minor in Communications and a specialization in International and Cultural Management. While there, I participated in recreational sports, Sport Management Society, and co-founded the Women's Club Basketball Program.
