North East ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) Volunteer Application
Each school district in the state is required to establish and maintain a district-level school health advisory council. State law requires the majority of SHAC members to be parents (of students enrolled in NEISD schools) who are not employees of NEISD. The School Health Advisory Council acts in an advisory capacity to Board of Trustees.

What they can help you with: Call us in order to inform the clinic about any student medical issue. Changes in medications, access issues (broken legs, arms, etc) that require elevator or early class-release passes, or allergies are all items that our clinic needs to be aware of.
