Welcome to ASL! I am so excited to be in my 16th year here at Reagan! I took 3 years of ASL in high school and was the first class to graduate using it as a foreign language credit for graduation.  I went to The University of Tulsa and got my degree in Deaf Education.  In September 2024, I received my master's in Curriculum and Instruction

Before coming to Reagan, I taught Special Ed at Jenks Middle School in Jenks, Oklahoma (near Tulsa). Then we moved to San Antonio, and I was the self-contained Deaf Ed teacher at Legacy Middle School in East Central for a year. While there, I realized I really loved the language, culture, and people. I wanted to share that love with students. 

My husband and I have 3 kids, one here at Reagan, one at Bush, and a preschooler at Stone Oak, 4 cats, a snake, and a bearded dragon. Keep your eyes peeled for Sparks, the beardie in my classroom. I love all things Disney and Harry Potter.  I enjoy baking and watching movies with my family in my free time.
