Mr. Stephen Martinez

Howdy! A little about me: I am originally from El Paso, Texas. I moved to San Antonio in 1999 and am an NEISD product myself (Macarthur '09). I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 where I earned my BA in History. Prior to Reagan I taught Texas History and World Geography at Carver College Preparatory in downtown San Antonio.  This is my 5th year at Reagan where I currently teach World Geography and coach Golf. Coach Aki and I run a very competitive 6A golf program that competes not only at the state level but at the National level. A few accomplishments include multiple Regional Championships, a State Championship in 2022, and a National Championship in 2023. Despite the hefty time and travel requirement for our golf program, my role as a teacher always comes first. I enjoy being in the classroom and am very fortunate to be a part of the Reagan community.
