Mr. Gavin Magee

Gavin Magee is very excited to start his third year as Associate Choir Director at Ronald Reagan High School. Mr. Magee graduated from Texas State University (Magna Cum Laude) and began his teaching career at Barbara Bush Middle School as the director of Theater Arts. Mr. Magee is also the Assistant Music Director at Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, TX, where he leads both the Youth Chorus of Zion and the collegiate traveling choir Voces Luminis. When Gavin is not teaching choir, he actively enjoys performing with his local community theatre, ZTG (Zion Theater Group), under the direction of Sandra Mikulski and Robert Mikulski. Previous credits include Tony (West Side Story), Quasimodo (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Billy Crocker (Anything Goes), and Seymour Krelborne (Little Shop of Horrors). Mr. Magee lives in Northwest San Antonio with his amazing wife Lindsay and his dramatic and needy cat, Simon.
