Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

A little about me, I grew up in Beaumont, Texas and moved on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Zoology. I earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas and then started practicing. After a severe wrist injury, unable to practice chiropractic hands on techniques, I found (unexpected) great joy in teaching. I taught at Brookhaven College and Richland College in Dallas TX. I also enjoyed teaching at Lamar State College-Orange in Orange, Texas.   

Now, I get to teach the basics of these disciplines to high school students.

This is my 7th year teaching Anatomy & Physiology here at Reagan High School. 

I am adjunct faculty with San Antonio College which allows me to teach A&P to the dual credit students at Reagan. 

My husband and I have a 21 year old daughter in her final semester at Texas A&M (WHOOP!!) as well as a 7 year old daughter starting 1st grade. One moving on, one starting fresh! 

For fun, we visit national parks, state parks, and try to campout at least once a month as a family. Fun fact, we have one African Sulcata tortoise, five chickens, nine Holland Lop eared rabbits, a dog, a cat, and a gerbil.
