Welcome!! My name is Maria Rodriguez and I teach Biology Honors. I have 25 years of teaching experience, including 9 years at Churchill.

I'm excited about starting my fifth year at Ronald Reagan HS teaching biology and leading the Science Department. I've loved science all my life, starting with my childhood in Belize and Guatemala and then my older years in Texas. I continue to learn science every day, reading current science articles as well as experiencing it at national parks, labs, and science museums. My biology degree from the University of Dallas has served me well in teaching many different science courses in the last 25 years.  

I've been married for 29 years and have 3 wonderful sons. I love to read, travel, hike, do puzzles, and drink lots of coffee. 

I'm looking forward to teaching you about living science and to love/respect the earth.
