I'm a native San Antonian and grew up in a military family.  I received my B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and my M.A. at The University of Texas at San Antonio (both in English literature).  I have seventeen years of teaching experience - ten from Texas and seven from overseas, including South Korea, Egypt, and Colombia.  My teaching certifications include secondary English language arts and English as a second language. This will be my 8th year teaching at Ronald Reagan High School and my 4th year at Alamo Colleges.
