Mrs. Asil Elashy

Hello, my name is Asil Elashy. I am so excited about starting school with you this year. I am looking forward to meeting and having you in my class, whether you are in Algebra 1 or Geometry. We can do this together and stand up to help each other again this year. Here is a quick biography about me.

I was born in Kuwait, but I am from Palestine, and went back to Jerusalem when I was 13 years old. I then got married and moved to San Antonio.

I got my Associate degree from San Antonio College in Mathematics and Liberal Arts.

I graduated from UTSA and had my Bachelor's degree in the College of Sciences Math, Math Concentration, and then had my teaching certificate through Region 20.   

I have two kids, Sammy and Lana, who both finished from Reagan H.S. and I am so happy working in their school.

I have two cats.

I love traveling, dancing and dark chocolate. 

I play piano and love to listen to music.

I am wearing a Hejab, because I am Muslim if you are wondering.
