I attended Texas A&M International University where I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. I have over thirty years of business experience both in industry and in the secondary education environment.  I worked as an accounting supervisor and senior accountant of a credit union and a federally insured bank.  I was self employed as a financial consultant for 20 years.  I maintained accounting records for a variety of businesses, prepared federal and state reports and provided financial and human resource counseling to clients.  I also worked as an accountant in charge of Federal, State and Local Grants.
