Ms. Kambri Hernandez is a first-generation graduate of Texas State University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, K-12 Art Certification (Ceramic Arts emphasis with additional experience in Sculpture & Metalsmithing) and is a few credits shy of completing her Masters in Secondary Education. This is her 6th year teaching with NEISD & she is Co-Sponsor of Guitar Club & National Art Honor Society.
She has taught art from ages 05 - 85 and enjoys helping everyone discover the importance of balancing the stress of everyday life with finding a creative outlet. Students will have the opportunity to use a variety of media throughout the year to find their preferred method of visual self-expression. Her goal is to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere where students can learn independence and forge meaningful connections with their peers through art.
