Welcome Everyone!
Hello everybody. I am Mr Thompson and will be teaching Physics and Forensics for the 2024-2025 school year, My vision for both of these classes is to get in more hands on labs. I strongly believe that people learn more by doing things and learning from their mistakes. There will be plenty of labs and demos in class. Some might go perfectly, others might go completely wrong, but together we will learn either way. Please come in with an open mind to class to be able to learn something new every day.
This will be my 20th year in education. I have taught everything from 5th grade to 12 grade sciences, as well as Texas History and World Geography. I am a native of San Antonio, graduating from Lanier High School in 1997 and UTSA in 2003. Before teaching, i worked at a restaurant./ bar on the Riverwalk called Jim Cullums Landing. I then started teaching at St John the Evangelist for two years, then Stevens for 1, then Pearsall for 7 years (2008-2015) and finally came to Madison in 2015.

Mr. Thompson
Welcome to my homepage. I am Mr Paul Thompson and will be your Physics or Forensics instructor this year.
I was born here in San Antonio and went to Lanier HS, where i graduated with Honors in Science. After graduating high school, I went to UTSA to obtain my Bachelors degree of Science in Biology.. After UTSA, in 2004, i started teaching middle school science and Tx History.
This will be my 20th year in education. Physics and Forensics are my favorite subjects to teach, but i have also taught Environmental Science, World Geography, Chemistry, IPC, Biology, Tx History and Geometry.
I am excited to be teaching and having fun in Physics and Forensics classes this year. I have always been a science nerd and I hope that my passion for science rubs off onto my students.
