Mr. Cory Vega

Hey everyone! Hope you’re ready for a great school year! My name is Mr. Vega and this is my third year teaching in general. I graduated from Southwestern University, the top private liberal arts university in Texas, where I majored in communications/rhetorical studies and minored in exercise and sports studies. I played collegiate football for Southwestern all four years as a defensive tackle/defensive end and won the SCAC title in 2016. I did my post-grad/certification work at UTSA. When I’m not in the comfy confines of the classroom, I love to listen to music, watch movies, play recreational soccer or golf (please don’t ask about my pitching wedge game), cook, and play video games (you’ll find out which ones are my favorites as we progress throughout the year).
